So, I have a confession to make.
I made the Apple Walnut Bread again.
This time without walnuts and in the proper size pan. I was able to find the larger size (Wilton) at Target.
So, all my big talk about the right size pan was B.S.
This new pan produces a lovely, large loaf. It also preserves the precious crumbly sweet topping. (I really really love the topping. I am fantasizing about doubling it next time and using it as streusel.)
By using the proper pan you prevent, if you are at all like me, smoldering oven fires.
You don't want to know. Believe me.
So, I guess this is technically just Apple Bread at the point. Since there are no longer Walnuts in it.
Either way, it is lovely.
Now, what to do with all the rest of these gorgeous apples that stretch as far as the eye can see.
