This is a collage of some photos of the tree in the yard next door.
The top of the tree is almost burgundy that fades to red, then orange, yellow and finally green as your eye moves down the tree.
Just gorgeous.
Our former neighbor, the super crabby Gene, loved our Liquid Amber trees. When the seeds started to take root in his yard, he let several of them grow and grow.
Unfortunately, he and his third wife (he was her third husband, as well), ended up losing the house.
Now the house is sad to us. We miss them and the bank has opted not to sell the house.
So the house is empty.
Seems silly.
Gene would really love to see those trees, in all their glory.
