Our spider is back.
I am not sure if it is the same spider as last year. Who knows how long spiders live?
Anyway, I am pretty much obsessed. I can't stop taking pictures of Charlotte and her web.
Each morning I check on her to see if she made it through the night.
Her web looks like it has been strung with diamonds of morning dew. It is truly breathtaking.
Each evening, she repairs any damage of the day, spinning with such precision and purpose.
I even watched her gather her evening meal of little bugs that had been snared in her beautiful trap.
Today I am going to order a copy of Charlotte's Web. I have such fond memories of that book.
